I Accidentally Dropped My Hands in Some Gravitational Waves
13th Feb 2024:
Neutron Stars are considered to be among the densest objects in the universe. Consider a star with a mass about 1.5 times that of our Sun compressed into a 15-kilometer ball, the density of this would be similar to the density of Neutron Stars.
Immense density comes with intense gravitational forces.
When two Neutron Stars merge in a violent collision, the forces involved can be powerful enough to result in the formation of a black hole. Where the gravity is so large that nothing, not even light, can escape it.
This Neutron Star Collision and the formation of a black hole can cause ripples in the surrounding gravitational fields. These Gravitational Waves alter the fabric of the universe through the expansion and shrinkage of spacetime.

Ancient Textiles of 10 Worlds
A long time ago, I called a friend out of the blue. I told them I am going to call them back in 24hours and I want them to give me a list of 10 countries.
24 hours later, I called them back, they gave me a list of 10 countries and I hung up the call.
Several months later: I have these 10 bollards painted. Each bollard represents of those 10 countries. Not just vaguely about the country, but the ancient textile patterns from early civilizations of these countries we now come to know.
Each weekend over the summer of 2022-2023 I dedicated myself to the study of ancient stories, textile trades, battles, discoveries, materials used by the early these early societies the 10.
Called upon help from many people around the globe and within my direct community to assist me in finding the information, knowledge, and stories to find the most vibrant striking way to bring back history of the art of what we used to wear into the art of the streets we walk on.
Below are the 10 new Bollard on George St that I have painted, each represented a different country.

3 Words Each
On 25th Feb 2022 , I finished painting the 10 Bollards on George Street, Palmerston North.
Each bollard captures a snapshot of my experience of the world within the week of painting it.
Each bollard is still based off 3 Words. I have chosen 10 people around the world and locally to give me their own 3 words.
The 3 words I have been given narrowed down what local experience I paint about. I have carefully chosen 10 people who have shaped my experience of Summer.
The 10 people and their 3 words I have decided to keep anonymous to highlight that the art we see have so many hidden layers of story.
